Just Finished My Wiki Article!

I just finished my first ever wiki article at Bufwiki.com. The coding was defiantly an interesting experience. I never thought editing a wiki could be so hard. I guess the guys at Encyclopedia Dramatica are smarter than I thought. The link can be found here: http://buffalo.wikispot.org/Devil%27s_Hole_State_Park
Please let me know if you have any ideas for improvement or suggestions. Thank you for all your help! Hope you have a great long weekend!

  1. This was some very interesting information about Devil’s Hole State Park. I have personally been there before and it is truly an amazing place to visit. I really like how she gave some information about it that I had never known. The historic background she gave was very informational and nostalgic as well. It is truly amazing earth formation that should be recognized as a historic spot for Buffalo. I also liked how she mentioned the paranormal activity that has been spotted over the years. Through her article she also proved that there are many activities to there, one of them being fishing. I really liked reading the article because it was a great historic tribute to one of the many places to visit in Buffalo.

  2. I thought you did a great job on your Buffalo Wiki page. I liked how it was really informative, and you seemed to have covered every aspect of the park. The pictures that you included gave me a good visual of the park. It makes me want to go there, even though I have never hiked a day in my life! I also enjoyed reading and learning about the back history, such as the massacre and the paranormal activity. Although, I would have liked to see more information on that though. Maybe if you added in another ghost story or something to that affect. All in all, I think you did a great job with your wiki page. I enjoyed it!

  3. Sweet topic! I have been to Niagara Falls a number of times and never knew about this place. I think it’s cool to have a place not many people know about to go and hang out with friend etc. your decision to make your topic on a local place is commendable. I like the whole cave network part, that must be fun to go explore and the fact that’s it’s a NU hangout is cool too, I’m sure there are some great parties held there. Really enjoyed you wiki page, Well done!

  4. I thought you did an amazing job on your page! I have been to Niagara Falls state park so many times and never even heard of this place. I will for sure have to check it out soon. You provided such great information and your pictures are awesome. Your page and topic are extremely creative. It was a very good idea to provide directions so everyone could know where it is exactly located. You must visit this place often. Also what you wrote under "paranormal activity" creeped me out. Did that really happen? Yikes! Overall you did a great job.

  5. OMG! Excellent job on this Wikipedia page. It was very well written. I know it was not easy to do a Wikipedia page but you nailed it. What I appreciated about the reading was that it was informative that was not biased but still made me want to praise to The Black Girls Rock foundation. Also breaking down each section into who, what, where, why, made also very easy to read. Everyone took the easy route by creating WikiHow pages but you had the balls to take on the biggest challenge so a bigthumbs up for that. Love the page.

  6. I really enjoyed reading this article. I love reading about outdoor destination spots so I was excited that it's located right here in Buffalo. I like how you gave a history on the site and I love the picture that you provided. It was really interesting seeing the nicknames associated with the place as well as reading about the paranormal activity linked to the location. I would definitely try to visit this place now that I know more about it. Great Job with the posting, format, pictures and written content.
